This president reminds me of MIchael Corleone at the end of the first Godfather. Not only has Shock and Awe begun with a thunder, but NBC has reported explosions in Halabja, which is near the Iran/Iraq border and is known to be a major stronghold for al Qaeda-linked terrorists. It seems we’re unleashing all the dogs of war at once, as we’ve also been hitting al Qaeda in Pakistan the last couple of days. You gotta love how this president’s team works, since they seem to take a very broad view of what’s going on and take advantage of every opportunity possible. The notion to name Shock and Awe ahead of time for the media to vomit back ad nauseum and then negotiate for surrender talks is just a complete media success.
