Ducks in Sin City!

No, not that Sin City. The one where your money is gambled away and you don’t get to pull a lever.

The Ducks men’s basketball team had a great win tonight in Georgetown, beating the #14 #18 Hoyas 57-50. The game was close all the way through, but the Ducks pulled it out eventually despite a dismal shooting percentage. I only watched the last two minutes of the game, but I did get to catch a shot of Oregon Senator Ron Wyden… who was sitting directly behind former UO College Republican Chair Anthony Warren. (Well, it was either Anthony or his twin brother Nik.) Oh, the angry stares and mutterances that must have taken place!

  1. Anthony says:

Haha, naw kept a close eye on the wallet the entire night, figured the guy already steals my money via outrageous taxation, better keep what I have left. The senator didnt spill any milk on me BUT two of his staffers sitting next to me spilled their beer on the guy sitting infront of me. Oh and Ian, it was for sure Wyden, the lisp gave him away.

  2. Niedermeyer says:

I hope the Senator didn’t spill his glass of warm milk on you…

  3. Ian says:

He didn’t try and steal your wallet? Are you sure it was Wyden?

  4. Anthony says:

Oh and I agree, Aaron Brooks tore it up big time, so many great drives to the bucket towards the end. Let’s pray that Champ isnt injured too bad also.

  5. Anthony says:

I admit, it was me infront of Senator Wyden at the game. For the record I was there first, and he sat behind me, haha.

Great to represent for the ducks nearly 3000 miles away from home and engage in MASSIVE trash talking after the game riding the metro home. Interestingly there were no harsh words either way.haha I mean I’m sure Wyden was thinking to himself, “oh no Anthony Warren is sitting infront of me.”

  6. Niedermeyer says:

Aaron Brooks tore it up in the 4th… what a game.
