Election Issue Released

Can’t decide who to vote for in the upcoming ASUO elections? There’s a Commentator for that!

The all-new Elections Issue of the Oregon Commentator is finally done, and has been released for the web in PDF format. Look for the issues on stands around the UO campus early next week.

As always, please enjoy the Commentator responsibly.

  1. Jacque says:

Thanks for the shout-out 🙂 You also misspelled my name! lol

  2. T says:

Hemingway was misspelled in Spew …

  3. Timothy says:

I can see how that might hurt their marketing….

  4. Niedermeyer says:

    Scary, scary.

They don’t mention that it is brewed by satan.

  5. Danimal says:

A long-gone alum complaining about the layout? DRINK!

  6. Eric says:

Very nice, Tracy Flick and the use of the word “twat.” My compliments.

Regarding hallucinogenic substances, experience has taught me never to combine PBR, jalapeno hush puppies, and fried pickles while enjoying free pool at the horse head.

  7. Timothy says:

I’ve never even seen that shit, dude. We don’t really have too many 7-11s here in San Antonio. What do they claim is in it?

FYI: I had a similar demon bat experience with Jaeger and Rockstar.

  8. Niedermeyer says:

Tim: To every thing there is a season,
and a time for every purpose under heaven.

I’m telling you, it’s the 7-11 “Power Fusion” coffee. It’s infused with hell. Insanity and hell.

  9. I’m disappointed to see that Sudsy is not running for elected office. However, Ted holding a gun and claiming 60% of PFC funds as compensation is the kind of bold leadership UO needs.

Seriously, I’m jealous. ASUO has scandal, captivating (read: moronic) personalities, ongoing issues, and still manages to be a colossal waste of money!. ASOSU elected officials are, DUI arrests excepted, bland, and they do exactly the same thing every year. And people care so little, we can’t even get enough volunteers to form a functioning judiciary.

And for the record, thanks to the latest poll numbers, Benny is back in as mascot of OSU, when Kusinich being promoted to University Deity.

  10. Timothy says:

An apple isn’t a zebra, if you take my meaning. And as many redeeming qualities as a zebra has, it’ll never really be able to improve an apple.

As to the demon bats, dude, it’s probably all the brown acid. Don’t take the brown acid, it’s not any good.

  11. Niedermeyer says:

    Why is anything anything?

Since when is layout your specialty, Tim?

And if the Voice has a redeeming quality, isn’t it the layout?

Why do I get chased for hours by demon bats every time I drink 7-11 “Power Fusion” Coffee?

  12. Timothy says:

Why does the Commentator look like the Voice? Is there some elaborate joke I’m just not getting? Did Brian Boone put you up to this, Ted?
