Believe it or not, Nov. 9th is remembered in Germany as Schicksalstag, literally translating into ‘Day of Fate’, due to the significant events that take place on this date throughout history. Vincent got two of the important ones; some others:
*1848: The revolution of 1848 of the German states fails when Robert Blum is executed after the Vienna Revolts.
*1918: Phillipp Scheidemann proclaims the Weimar Republic after dethroning Emperor Wilhelm II, putting an end to monarchy in Germany.
*1923: The failed coup d’etat in Germany, remembered as the ‘Beer Hall Putsch’, is often marked as the emergence of the Nazi party in mainstream German politics.
*1925: The establishment of the German SS (Schutzstaffel) is often marked on this date.

Expect old faces back on campus this spring. We won’t let another outsider like Dotters-Katz steal the election this time.
Sun Owen?
senate will not excuse crying
I heard Jones was running with Alex Mccafferty not Nix.
I heard Johnny is running with Perley.
I heard perley was a fake fiscal conservative who voted for larger budgets for the DFC but questioned Jory Card about small line items on his Queer Action Coalition plan.
Senator Perely needs his stipend raised immediately because his position as Senate treasurer is extremely cumbersome. I mean, why shouldn’t he get more money for repeatedly misreading budgets and spewing divisive rhetoric such as “race card” ? The amount of extra work he dedicates towards his position deserves immediate recognition. Senators please make this happen ASAP. I have to support him getting more money since I want more money for my position as a director because the organizing I do is important and there should be equality because of the diversity plan. Thank you.
I heard every student at the UO will be paying for an LTD bus route, regardless of whether or not they use it. A million bucks? Senate, say it ain’t so.
Program leader, if we could up our stipends, we would have. And for your program: slash and burn!
This certainly seems like an appropriate way to commemorate Kristallnacht and the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Senator Nathan Perley, your friend who applied for the con court, the blond kid, will never be appointed simply because he is friends with you. Good job being a douche and ruining your friends chances of doing something cool. You really are an idiot!
Senators scrutinizing requests and policies that come become them is fair, however it is also appropriate (neither absurd or unethical) for others to question not only senators’ motives, but the “way” inwhich senators scrutinize.
Don’t take their shit personally, Pearls. It’s internet drama designed to bait you.
Impeach the entire senate, and run the campaign for change again
Here is a copy of that email that Perley was mentioning sent by Dotters-Katz. Its pretty rough…
Idiots.
