Walking to Hirons ? Travelling Eastward from the Jack off center at 13th and Agate ? Good luck…..you had better be suicidal if you are going to walk by the arena construction clusterfuck . At least all those monster truck shows at the arena will be worth all this….the question remains: Will Puddles the Duck drive one of the monster Trucks ?

Speaking as a former international student, I reckon the damn foreigners will probably be able to cope with walking a few blocks to the Hirons or wherever.

Betcha if those free-speech-free-thinking folks who attended the Pacifica Forum in the Walnut Room (across from the EMU post office) were still there, they’d be the first to stand up for all those who are now going to have a difficult time.

We’re talking about “international students, freshmen, students with disabilities for whom travel is no small task, students with no wheeled transport, and busy people in general,” and some that Sophie forgot to mention – all of whom were represented in one way or another by the people who showed up at the Walnut Room to listen and/or to speak their mind. And you wouldn’t have to call in DPS either…
