Ol’ Dirty photo editor Ivar Vong just put up these neat toys on the ODE blogs. Essentially, they’re visualizations of student fee funding allocations per group for the 2010-11 school year for PFC, DFC and ACFC. (I hear EMU will be up there in a moment.) Infographics are way cool, especially interactive ones. And useful.
So, who wants to explain why the Student Insurgent gets nearly twice as much money as the Commentator or the Oregon Voice? That seems like a steaming pile of bullcrap. The OC publishes interesting content regularly, and the Voice publishes… two things that absolutely cannot be said for that sham of a “publication.” They’ve had, what, one publication in the last calendar year?
Not anymore. 2011-12 budget called for 20.1% decrease for the Student Insurgent.
