The fact you reference the Oregonian writer by the wrong name (who is DAN Canzano????????) shows a complete lack of detail, effort, attention, and a complete disregard for fact-checking and research.

Of course, after reading this article, I already knew all that about you.

Well… not necessarily. If those 2 $25,000 payments hadn’t gone to Lyles, I have sincere doubts that they would have made their way to the academic side. It’s a worthy ideal, but unrealistic.

I also thought it was interesting that Lariviere decided to announce the letter of inquiry on game day (9/17), and then “couldn’t remember” when exactly the week prior he received the letter.

I guess he finally became a PR professional.
