DUCKS BLOW OUT TROJANS, WIN PAC-10 TOURNAMENT!
The Ducks are red hot right now, after destroying USC 81-57 to win the Pac-10 tournament with emphasis. The high-flying Ducks were bouncing all over the floor, hitting threes at will and getting 5 players in double figures. The team as a whole was clicking, but the standout was Bryce Taylor who had what amounted to a perfect game. Taylor scored 32 points on 11-11 shooting, and was 7-7 from 3. The Ducks played fast-paced, dynamic offense, but didn’t skimp at the defensive end either. USC was beat before the end of the first half, and looked lost the entire second half as Oregon bombarded them with threes. The Ducks were up by about 40 before Ernie Kent emptied the bench, and let the reserves hold on to a 24 point finish. Exactly the kind of performance you want to see in the last game before the big dance. Sweet Sassy Molassy!
