Remembering Ted Kennedy

Since CNN and MSNBC have been eulogizing Ted Kennedy for the past 78 hours straight – apparently having a talent for demagoguery and maintaining power make you an American hero – I thought I’d share a little remembrance of Ted that I heard from a friend of mine who’s worked in the restaurant industry in D.C. for a while:

A friend of hers worked at the New Heights restaurant, where Ted often dined and drank … and drank some more. (According to said friend, he would order tumblers filled to the rim with bourbon.) Anyways, one time this lady saw Ted Kennedy scratch his back with his butterknife … and then proceed to stick the same knife in his bottle of ketchup.

Remember this man, for he was boozy and gross.

    No No No that’s Robert D’eandrea you are peaking about. The Robert on here is Robert Greene the ASUO dude who eats other people’s boogers. Robert D’eandrea is the reporter of whom you speak, and he is well known for helpign Emma get elected yes.

    Also, I believe that OREV isin’t Brenden Good, it’s Jacqualine Justice!

    My name is not an alias, I just don’t prefer to use my last name in a message forum such as this one. I’m not sure who Brendan is, but I doubt he would hide behind an alias either, were he to post here.

    Robert…is that an alias? Or are you the ODE homer who single-handedly rigged an entire election and has never written one honest word (other than the weather, you do that, right?) in that dirty POS you call a paper?

    Mary Jo would’ve “heralded” Ted Kennedy’s career! To wit:

    it doesn’t automatically make someone… a Limbaugh-loving, aerial-wolf-hunting NRA troll for asking what Mary Jo Kopechne would have had to say about Ted’s death, and what she’d have thought of the life and career that are being (rightfully) heralded.

    Who knows — maybe she’d feel it was worth it.
