Kiss student apathy goodbye! “I’m so fucking psyched!”

Dallas,
You need to write for the Commentator. Seriously.
Do you guys not realize the importance? National security is dependent on tomorrow nights meeting and I for stand behind the President (Axelrod). Im sick of all this criticism, we need to unite behind our leader.
Who cares what you do at the meeting?
As P.J. O’Rourke once said about UN Security Council Resolutions, they have about the same amount of efficacy as notes passed in study hall. The Student Senate’s obstinate desire to pass this resolution is taking O’Rourke’s snark in an absurdly literal direction.
And how is this relevant to student issues? Maybe time is better focused elsewhere such as student housing, lowering the fee, protecting students right to legal counsel, I am sure you guys have some other ideas. Maybe I can argue the reasons why Iran SHOULD have a nuke at the meeting.
Benefit of doubt-giving time: Is it an elaborate joke intended to point out that a UN Security Council Resolution on Iran isn’t really any more effective?
Nah, probably not. But I couldn’t help pointing that out.
Seconded.
ASUO’s Iran resolution… because there’s not enough irrelevant bullshit on campus to waste time and money on.
Ahh, the two categories you should never see attached to one post.
