Frisch Out Of A Job
Yesterday, the Register Guard reported that former UO Psychology professor Deborah Frisch resigned from her post at the University of Arizona due to flak the school received after she posted a number of psychotic hostile ramblings to the blog www.proteinwisdom.com. What exactly did Frisch write? The Register Guard reports:
“You live in Colorado, I see. Hope no one Jon-Benets your baby … If some nutcase kidnapped your child tomorrow and did to her what was done to your fellow Coloradan, Jon-Benet Ramsey, I wouldn’t give a damn … If I woke up tomorrow and learned that someone else had shot you and your tyke, it wouldn’t slow me down one iota. You aren’t human to me.”
The Guard doesn’t bother to quote the rest of her post:
Give your pathetic progeny (I sure hope that mofo got good genes from his mama!) a big fat tongue-filled kiss from me! LOTS AND LOTS OF SALIVA from Auntie MOONBAT, if you don’t mind! …

Some people affiliated with the Oregon Commentator remember Frisch. I know former editor-in-chief Tim Dreier does. Way back in the not-so-distant past, Frisch took aim at Tim on Steve Verdon’s blog.

But you are inspiring me to just name the names.
How would you feel if you knew that YOU personally were responsible for my naming names (and in the process, revealing even more sordid details) of some of the stupid, sexist, sleazebag white men at the U of O? You’d be FAMOUS – like Steve Prefontaine!

In her defense, Frisch claims that she was merely “trolling” blogs with which she disagreed in order to get a rise out of people. Yes, folks, Frisch — a professor of Psychology — is engaging in behavior worthy of a 15-year-old. In an article published in Inside Higher Ed Frisch explains how she is a victim:
The issue is how these rabid, crazy, right-wing nutcases have stalked me, told on me, reacted totally out of proportion to a joke in bad taste I posted on a blog. They are treating me the way they treated Ward Churchill — a lunatic lefty in academia who deserves to be verbally attacked, abused and mocked.
Yes, mocking a man’s child by making comments about child molestation is simply the height of hilarity, isn’t it? You really rise above the cacophonic clatter with with those remarks, don’t you?
So what does Frisch want to do now that she has been outed as an unhirable and unhinged sociopath? She wants to be the far-left Ann Coulter. Terr-fucking-rrific. She and Coulter deserve each other, and they can engage in some hot crazy-on-crazy action for all I care.
I have to give credit where credit is due, however; at least Frisch kept her insanity confined to the blogosphere (as if it needs anymore), whereas other former UO instructors have not. Kudos for that, professor Moonbat.
