Is this the real life, is this just fantasy? Caught in a landslide, no escape from reality
Andrew Sullivan is pissed at France and Germany. To my mind, with good reason. I cannot believe the audacity of them to threaten a veto of a new resolution in the UN. They say it’s all for “peace” and “justice.” But, they’re lying. France, Russia and Germany do THE MOST business with Iraq under the oil-for-food program and have the biggest incentive for Saddam to stay and UN sanctions to go away. And, speaking of audacity, I saw Ted Kennedy…you know, America’s creepy, drunken uncle, on CSPAN today quoting Thomas Jefferson. How dare that tax-and-spend, big-government loser quote Jefferson. Made me want to vomit, preferably on a poor kid or a wildlife preserve. God, this Anthro 344 paper is really starting to get to me.
