Now That’s Oppression!

After Jethro Higgins’ tiresome whining about the oppression of Christians, this actually sounds credible (well, funny, anyway). Bias Response Team, Go! To the Leftorium!

  1. […] out today’s Emerald’s letter to the editor…What was clearly intended as a joke has brought forth many angry and offended voices. I see Loewen’s response’s to McCoy as […]

  2. Timothy says:

The world is a callous place if you’re left handed.

  3. ChrisD says:

Wait, the piece in the Dirty was in jest??? But what about…….?

Ah, hell, I can’t even begin to make a joke about southpaw discrimination. It’s just, you know, too effing serious. They even get callouses from used righty scissors.

    Callouses, people!

  4. Sean says:

Watch for the ‘MCC’s’ response to her…hehe…ahem.

Is this serious? I’m left handed and have never felt discriminated against. I went to school here and have always been content using right handed desks. Put your paper in front of you and write. It’s really not that hard…but then again if you are one of the “geniuses” you speak of, maybe it is that hard for you since most geniuses seem to lack common sense. There are people in this world, and on this campus, who really do face discrimination on a regular basis. Complaints like yours do nothing but take away credibility from people with real complaints. Why don’t you find a good cause to put all of your energy behind.

    This shit kills me.

  6. Niedermeyer says:

    Glad we inspired you Aaron!

  7. Betz says:

You should have thrown in a bit about when you see a lefty and righty holding hands, that ‘something isn’t right.’ That really would have floated the ticket!

  8. Sho says:

I do believe a Mr. D. Atkinson will be in full support against this form of discrimination, as he did run for ASUO executive a few years back under the banner of the Sinister Students United for Left-Handed Rights.

  9. Aaron McCoy says:

Actually, I have to thank the OC for inspiring me. Basically, it’s a response to Ty and his intelligent, inspired (award-winning!) musings.
