The ASUO primary election results were just announced down in the ASUO office. With my ultra cool media privileges, I got to sit and watch the votes being counted while the candidate mob crowded by the window like cows at a feeding trough. Anyways …
Emma Kallaway and Getachew Kassa (team red) and Michelle Haley and Ted Sebastian (Oregon Action Team) moved on to the general elections. You can see the all the results here.
I don’t have time to get to campus any longer, what with graduating and having a job and a kid, etc. Someone needs to take a pic of the storm trooper helmet and post it on the OC site!
In other Nike nazi/slander news the Knight library now has one of the controversial Nike “stormtrooper” UO marching band helmets on display in a glass case (they got recalled later because they made the Ducks look too much like goose-steppers). It is a must see. Now the poor band is stuck with only baseball caps.

I am sure they would have kept Robo if he had gotten snared in some type of date rape incident that first week he was hatched. As it was that flaming mascot just burned out too quickly…….like “a candle in the wind”. tears

Let’s be real: Michelle Haley is a conniving, bratty, morbidly obese megalomaniac, and Ted is a just a plain dumbass. The bulk of OAT is comprised of a group of extremely unintelligent, acquiescent robots, most of who know very little about student government at all. OAT serves alcohol to minors to procure votes from them. They also make promises they cannot keep. How can you provide more football tickets while keeping the library open 24/7 and maintaining essential services like LTD?
Transparency? Responsibility? Yeah right. These assholes should face criminal charges.
I still want a refund of the 95% of my student fees that did nothing to benefit me while I was a student.

So, OC really dropped the ball on elections this year…you guys blew it. You know what is true OAT got the most votes, by far. But you and the ODE didn’t say that. Maybe everyone should take a moment and realize that OAT got the most votes because students trust them, not because they are sheep.
